For the past eight years, Julesong has had full houses at concerts around Sogn og fjordane.
This year, the singers in Julesong are back together with experienced musicians such as Inge Ronny Kvåle on strings, Bjørn Tore Årøy on keys, Gjest Kvåle on guitar, John Børge Askeland on bass, and Trond Øyre with sound and lighting design.
The concerts that guarantee Christmas spirit and goosebumps are composed of songs that belong to the Advent and pre-Christmas season.
Most people will recognize the cream team that makes up "Julesong 2023" from concerts in previous years, and from previous Christmas concerts and other performances in Sogn og fjordane in recent years. And not least the TV program "NRK Julelutt" which was shown on NRK1 on Christmas Eve 2014.
Einar, known from Folk Flest among others, sings many of the greatest Christmas classics, while Gunn Marit sings some of the most famous new Christmas songs, and her own Christmas song "Heim til deg" - which was played a lot on NRK P1 nationally in the pre-Christmas period/Christmas last year! Among other things, Kari will contribute with traditional folk music and hymns. Together they will perform duets and other songs that bring light and warmth in the dark December time.
