Our rooms
We have rooms in both the modern building from the 1960s and the historic building.
The modern building from the late 1960s has 8 floors and 165 rooms. There is an elevator to the rooms. The rooms are in 1960s/70s style. The historic building from the late 1800s is in a more traditional style. There is no elevator in the historic building.
HISTORIC BUILDING
The rooms in the historic building are all unique and different in character. Some of the rooms are located in the cross wing facing east, others in the front of the The Swiss building. Most have balconies and all have spectacular views of the Sognefjord.
MODERN BUILDING
We have two types of rooms in the modern building. The vast majority have a balcony. Superior rooms are spacious and have their own seating area. Standard rooms are comfortable rooms that are slightly smaller. Both types of rooms can be upgraded with a view.
