In 2026, we have restored two suites and a Deluxe room in the iconic Swiss building at Kviknes Hotel.
When only the best is good enough
There's something special about waking up at Kviknes Hotel, surrounded by history and with a view of the Sognefjord. Now you can experience the hotel in a new and even more exclusive way.
The newly restored rooms combine the history and character of Kviknes with modern facilities and wonderful comfort. The rooms were designed in collaboration with Norwegian designer Gunvor Røkholt, with great respect for the building, the craftsmanship and the history that lies within the walls.
The result is three unique rooms – each with its own expression and views of the majestic Sognefjord.

Suite 219: Deluxe Suite
Our largest and most exclusive suite. Here you get two separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, an inviting living room, large private balcony and your own wine cabinet. And last but not least – panoramic views of the Sognefjord
Room 130: Deluxe Demi Suite
The Demi suite offers a king-size bed, stylish bathroom, comfortable seating area and two private balconies with views of the fjord.
Room 126: Deluxe Superior Double Room
Combines comfort and elegance with a king-size bed, private balcony and an inviting seating area.
A true Kviknes experience
Here you can start the day with a view of the fjord, enjoy Balestrand and the beautiful nature around the hotel, before returning to good food, historic lounges and your own room with that little extra.
