The restaurant at Kviknes Hotel receives international recognition
We are proud and happy to be listed in the international gourmet guide Falstaff.
For over a hundred years, Kviknes Hotel has invited guests to dine by the Sognefjord. Now we have been notified by Falstaff that we have been voted one of Norway's best restaurants according to their guide Falstaff Restaurant & Bistro Guide Nordics 2026 .
In their guide, we have our own place on the list, with a total of 87 out of 100 possible points.
The Gourmet Guide lists 1900 restaurants and bistros in Europe. Of these, 48 are located in Western Norway and only 14 of them have a higher score than Kviknes Hotel.
I think it's really cool, all the time we're running so much more than just a restaurant at our historic hotel!

The guide also mentions the hotel's extensive wine cellar. Our wine list is the largest and most extensive in the Sognefjord, with a selection of over 300 different wines.
